Chester Jackson

HALTOM CITY -- Chester L. Jackson, 67, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at a local hospital surrounded by his family.        Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Interment: Noon Monday, March 1, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.        Chester was born Dec. 25, 1942, in Memphis, Tenn., to Robert and Virginia Jackson. He was an electrical contractor for more than 40 years. He served with the Navy Seabees in Vietnam. He enjoyed music, hunting, fishing and helping to coach his sons in sports. He will be missed by his family, friends, business associates and all the lives he touched.        Chester was preceded in death by his father and mother; brothers, Bob and Tom; and his brother-in-law, Thomas.        Survivors: Wife of 21 years, Cheryl; sons, Steven Jackson and wife, Denise, Scott Jackson, Mark Jackson and Robby Jackson; brothers, Bill Jackson and Larry Jackson and wife, Darlene; sister, Mildred Rainey; and grandchildren, Parker, Taylor and Tanna.
