Christopher Gray

ARLINGTON -- Christopher Lynn Gray, 25, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011. Chris was born Sept. 5, 1986, in Irving to Lynn and DeVonna Gray. At age 9, he and his family relocated to the Arlington/Mansfield area, where he attended school and graduated early from Summit High School, in 2005. A passionate lover of music and a brilliant guitarist, Chris had a melodic sound all his own. The words to his songs were written with sincere conviction and thought-provoking intent. He spoke through his music and all who were lucky enough to stand beside him in his rhythmic contemplations were blessed. His daring charisma, his beautiful smile and his infectious laugh were such a lively focal point of every gathering. His love was given freely; equally. Through his multitude of deeply thought- provoking and ahead of his time messages, along with his amazing music, he will live on "in our heads" and in our hearts, forever. Survivors: His mother, DeVonna Gray; his father, Lynn Gray; his "little" brother and "Brother's Gray" comrade, Jaremy "Chase" Gray; grandmother, Gaylene Wood and grandfather, Paul; aunt and uncle, Mi'Shelle and Alan Zachry; aunt, Shana Murphey; aunt and uncle, Hannah and Marty Vasquez; cousins, Kirsten and Joey Jeter, Caressa Murphey, Kaylee Zachry and Michael Sierra, Tasha Veliz, and Julianne Vasquez; his grandfather and extended cousins and family in Turkey, Texas, and various other states; Pickles, Abbie and Brewski, his pets; very importantly, his numerous amazing friends; and, certainly important to Chris, his girlfriend, Robyn James.
