PORT BOLIVAR -- Clarence M. "Hot Shot" Henry, age 77, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. He was born in Arlington on October 6, 1934. He was retired from Bell Helicopter where he worked for 37 years. He was in the U.S. Army and a member of the U.A.W. He was an avid horseman and was a member of A.Q.H.A, Ap.H.C. and past president of Dal-Worth Appaloosa Horse Club. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Kennedale. C.M. was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters. Survivors: He is survived by his wife Oneta Henry; daughters Kay Pearce and husband Rodger, and Courtney Henry; sons Terry Henry and wife Rhonda, and Marty Henry; sisters Ruby Nell Cooper and husband Doug, and Fay Sanders; brothers Ray Henry and wife Barbara, and Billy Joe Henry; grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle and Jake Pearce and Cole, Lucy and Patrick Henry.The family wishes to express a special thanks to the doctors and staff of the Oncology Department and the I.C.U. at John Sealy Hospital for their compassion and care.
