FORT WORTH -- Clarence A. Parker, Jr., 63, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011. C.A. was born in Paducah, Texas on June 18, 1947, the son of Clarence A. Parker Sr. and Jewell Cockrell Parker. He grew up in Littlefield, TX and later moved to Levelland, TX where he was a banker for over 20 years. Once retiring from banking he became a builder and moved to Lubbock, TX. He had recently moved to Fort Worth, TX to be closer to his daughters and grandsons. He was a member of the Lions Club and Rotary Club and had an avid love for race horses. Survivors: C.A. is survived by his daughters Lori Hays and husband, Randy of Arlington, and Paige Everett and husband, Carley of Dallas; brother Randall Parker and wife, Karen of Farmington, NM; brother Rickye Parker and wife, Cinda of Lubbock, TX; sister Benita Hardie and husband, Robert of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Preston and Paxton Hays and Colton Everett; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
