EULESS -- Cloyd Rowell, 78, retired from Texas Instruments, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at his residence. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, Lucas Funeral Home. Burial: 2 p.m. Saturday in Emblem Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home. He was a graduate of East Texas State University and was a U.S. veteran. He was employed by Texas Instruments for 24 years. He was married to wife Moneta for 52 years. He umpired Little League baseball for a number of years and was a member of American Legion Post 379. Cloyd was an avid gardener. He loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Jeffie Rowell; and siblings, Loren, Oliver,Dewey, Deryl, Darwin, Sue and Earlene. Survivors: Spouse, Moneta Rowell; daughters, Donna Barnhill and Vicki Tanner; son, Kenneth C. Rowell; brothers, Floyd Rowell and Byron Rowell; grandchildren, Donald Kernodle, Jeffrey Barnhill, Bradley Barnhill, Trey Denson, Melissa Barnhill, K.C. Rowell, Shani Rowell; and great-grandchildren, Dakota Kernodle, Tessa Barnhill and Shelby Barnhill.
