EULESS -- Clyde Cromwell passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, after a long struggle with heart failure. He was under the care of Community Hospice of Texas. Burial: At a later date in Laurel Cemetery in Laurel, Mont. Clyde was born in Muskeegon, Mich., to Clyde A Cromwell and Helen Clark Cromwell on July 2, 1931. He moved to Laurel, Mont., in 1935 and graduated from Laurel High School in 1949. He served in the United States Army. He retired from the Small Business Administration and lived the remainder of his life in Euless. Clyde married Beverly Jane Lockwood of Laurel in 1953. They had three daughters, Prudence (Glenn) of Seattle, Wash., Julie (Steve) of Denver, Colo., and Nora (Craig) of Great Falls, Mont. Janie and Clyde later divorced. He married Irene Stendor of Whitehall, Mont., in 1983. She died in 1986. Survivors: His daughters; stepson, Larry Burrkarl of Livermore, Calif.; brother, John Cromwell; sister, Christine Kuntz; two granddaughters; two grandsons; and three nephews.
