Some souls are only meant to be in this world for a brief period of time. Our hearts are broken but we rejoice in knowing that Cody is now in the hands of our eternal maker and that GOD has wiped away all tears from his eyes. Our memories remain and we will be reunited in that glorious place that Christ has provided. Cody loved his family, loved to spend time with his mom and dad going to garage sales, he loved his pin striped suit, his London Fog coat and his Stetson cowboy hat. He was proud of his old used Cadillac. He loved his German Czech heritage, Norse mythology, YouTube videos, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and playing Lord of the Rings Online. He loved eating Spaghetti O's, microwave dinners and most things to be eaten. He was an eating machine. He loved to laugh and was outgoing and personable. He was proud of his employment at Green Oaks physical therapy as a PT tech and enjoyed working out. He was a student at UTA and soon would have graduated. We did not tell Cody enough that we loved him and were proud of him and we didn't give him enough hugs but Cody knew he was loved, respected and admired. He will always be missed and our lives without him will be different, yet his spirit is strong, will remain with us, and life will go on. It was from Cody himself that we learned II Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have run the race, I have kept the faith". The scriptures tell us that "we must work out our own salvation with fear and with trembling". Cody is an inspiration to this scripture and was true to the end. He "worked out his salvation" and he "kept the faith". GOD Bless each and every one of you that Cody has left behind and for your outpouring of love and affection.
