MANSFIELD -- On Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, our family lost Connie Mack Cain, 74, a very much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and father-in-law. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, with Pastor Marvin Raines officiating. Interment: Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Blessing Funeral Home. Connie Mack was born in Venus on May 20, 1934, to Bernie and Flaura. He filled the lives of those who loved him with laughter, friendship and unconditional love. Mack was the true definition of strength and hope. Besides his family, his passion was fishing, garage selling and "piddling" in his garage. He could build anything out of nothing and catch a crappie faster than it could swim and filet it in less than 60 seconds. He was a master electrician, plumber, welder, mechanic, carpenter and teacher to all. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Barbara Ann, B.L. and Judy. Survivors: Wife of 54 years Marjorie; son, Don and wife, Tamara; daughter, Lynnette; grandchildren, Erin, Travis, Matt and Connor; sister, Donna Maxwell; special brother-in-law, Tom Arber and wife, Betty; many family and friends; and special pets, Moe and Lucy.
