Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. The Rev. Brenda Wier will officiate. Interment: Following the service she will be laid to rest beside her husband, James P. Skelton, who preceded her in death April 15, 2001. Visitation: Cordell will lie in state noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home; the family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m.       Cordell was born Sept. 8, 1918, in Holiday. She retired after working many years as a secretary to Perry Bass in the oil and gas business. Cordell was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church. She was also a longtime member of Ridglea Country Club.        In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Skelton Goodman, and a sister, Virginia Domingos. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Gill Children's Services, 617 Seventh Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76104.        Survivors: Granddaughters, Lainie Baxter and her husband, Trey, of Newalla, Okla., and Marisa Hempstead of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandson, Rush Hempstead of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-grandchildren, Ryann Baxter and Avery Baxter; and extended family, Robert and Toni Ewing and children of Branson, Mo., and Marco Domingos of California.
