ARLINGTON -- Cubie Edward Ward, Jr., 42, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 in a Dallas hospital. ??? Funeral: 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Journey Fellowship Church, 1200 N Highway 157, Mansfield. Burial: 4:30 P.M. Wednesday at Resthaven Cemetery, Corsicana, Texas. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Cubie Ward,Jr. Foundation, 3600 Gaston Avenue, Wadley Tower #1052, Dallas, TX 75246, to focus on hypertension, heart and lung disease and obesity education and treatment. ??? Cubie was born in Corsicana on June 21, 1963. He spent 20 years in the medical supply industry, most currently at PCI Technologies in Dallas. With his caring and giving personality, Cubie touched countless lives through various ministries, both in the United States and Central America. ??? Survivors: wife, Dana Ward; children, Victoria Ward, Cubie Ward III and Sydney Huddleston; Parents, Linda and Robert Nickel and Dr. Cubie Ward Sr. and Dr. Joyce Shotwell-Ward; brother, Christopher Ward; sister, Lauri Keith and brother-in-law, Robert Keith; nieces, Mandi and Aleigh Keith, Michelle Barnett and Meghan Stover; nephews, Robert Keith III, Brandon and Bradley Barnett; numerous extended family members.
