Darla Hood

Darla was born Oct. 17, 1954, in Fort Worth to Orvil and Daisy Rawlinson.        She was child care director for North Richland Hills Baptist Church for 15 years. She had been employed by Texas Health Care for the past eight years.        Darla was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, best friend, sister-in-law and daughter-in-law. She was an important part of many children's lives and developed material for their religious education. She was always looking for someone to help along life's journey.        Darla was preceded in death by her parents.        Survivors: Loving husband of 35 years, John Hood; son, Brandon Hood; brother, Eddy Rawlinson; sister, Rhonda Rawlinson Mullings and husband, Rick; nieces, Rachel Brownjohn and Lexa Martin; nephews, Ethan Rawlinson, Philllip Johnson and Berry Martin; sisters-in-law, Donna Johnson and husband, Barry, and Verena Martin; and mother-in-law, Rossy Hood.
