HALTOM CITY -- Darlene Sumrall, 69, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 19, 2011.  Darlene, the daughter of Floyd and Lucy Byrnes Alton, was born March 17, 1942, in Dallas. Her grandchildren were her passion. Survivors: She is survived by children, Lisa Tice and husband, Don, and Robby Spurrier and wife, Tricia; grandchildren, Cory and Brady Tice, and Amanda and Caroline Spurrier; sisters, Wanda Coats and Betty Jo Cooper.
