David Christensen

Celina, TX - David Clark Christensen, born July 17, 1937 in Valley Springs, SD, died peacefully at his home on February 27, 2010 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Doreen (Renie) Christensen, daughter Margie Forbess and husband David, daughter Andrea Christensen and son Jon Christensen, grandchildren David Forbess and wife Melanie and Courtney Gilliam and husband Nathan. Dave Graduated from the University of South Dakota as a proud member of Phi Beta Theta. During his life, Dave had a diverse career path from 3M to the apparel industry with Munsingwear and Brittania sportswear to commercial real estate with his mentor, Bob Olesky, to his passion in architectural antiques and his McKinney store, One of A Kind. Dave was a kind spirit in all things and did not hesitate to put others needs ahead of his own. He will be remembered for his smile, laughter, charm and grace.
