David Dennis

SPRINGTOWN -- David B. Dennis, 51, a shop coordinator for Texas Transportation, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at a local hospital.  Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Ave.  David was born Aug. 3, 1955, in Pontiac, Mich., to Marvel and Harvey Dennis. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.  Survivors: Wife, Eva Dennis; parents, Harvey and Marvel Dennis; son, Brian Lee Dennis of River Oaks; daughter, Venessa Ann Dennis of Fort Worth; brothers, Terry Dennis of New York, N.Y., Michael Dennis; sisters, Laurie Lane, Debra Doebler, Robin Greer, all of Michigan; granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Joselyn; and numerous friends and co-workers.
