David Erwin

David "Pat" Erwin, 78, retired after 38 years with the Star Telegram as a data processing manager and pension administrator, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at a local care center.  Service: Graveside committal will at be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mansfield Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at Oakhurst Presbyterian Church at 11. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  David spent two years in the Army Ordnance Corps. He was an honor graduate from Amon Carter High School and Texas Christian University. He wished to be remembered as an educated man who took care of his mother. He was very fortunate to have the love and support of longtime friend, Natalie Shelton. Along with his mother and sister, Natalie was the light of his life.  Survivors: Sister, Dorothy Erwin Conway; and nephews, Robert Conway and his wife, Harumi, and David Conway and his wife, Julie.
