FORT WORTH -- David Kenneth Cox, 76, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at St John's Episcopal Church, 2401 College Ave., Fort Worth. Inurnment: St. John's Garth. The family will receive friends at a reception in Mitchell Hall. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 2401 College Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76110, or Weatherford Christian School, 111 E. Columbia, Weatherford, Texas 76086. David attended Carter-Riverside High School. Following high school, he attended Abilene Christian College, TCU and Tarrant County College. He loved God, proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard and cherished his family. David was a member in good standing of the Grand Lodge of Texas and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Heartfelt thanks go to the staff of Klazuba Heart Center's CVICU, Harris Hospital's Palliative Care, with very special thanks to Dr. Stephen Hudgens. Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Jane; daughters, Shea Dunn and husband, Von, and Amy Quinn and husband, Trey; grandchildren, Hudson and Olivia Quinn; and numerous nephews and nieces.
