ARLINGTON -- David G. Wagner, 61, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008. Service: The family is planning a memorial service sometime in January. Dave was born Oct. 8, 1947, in Danville, Va., and moved to Arlington in 1994. He was a Vietnam veteran and served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He had been the owner of the Jerky Hut of Texas for the past 16 years and had done trade shows in the area as well as his route in the Metroplex, and was known as "The Jerky Man."Survivors: Wife of 41 years, Carol; son, David Jr. of Fort Worth; mother, Harriet Wagner of Chapel Hill, N.C.; sister, Candi Simmons of Elone College, N.C.; and brother, James Wagner of Durham, N.C.
