Smithfield -- Deena Simmons, 66, lifetime resident of Smithfield, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst, with burial to follow in Smithfield Cemetery, North Richland Hills. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Deena loved life and the joys of her life were her seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bette and Dee Miller; sister, Melissia Norrell; and husband, Bill Simmons. Survivors: Deena is survived by her sons, Charles Dee Bailey and wife, Martha, Scott Bailey and wife, Missy, and Tracey Bailey and wife, Cari; grandchildren, Aaron, Heather, Sarah, Alex, Cydney, Chelsea and Riley; and sister, Jackie Williams.
