Dena Woods

MANSFIELD -- Dena Wells Woods passed away Monday, June 21, 2011.        Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.        Dena was born Sept. 26, 1923, in Comanche, the daughter of Claude Arnold and Alice Jane Broughton Wells. She graduated from Brownwood High School. She met and married Jay Woods on Nov. 23, 1950, in Hope, Ark. They settled in Mansfield in 1957. She was a founding member and elder of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Mansfield.        Survivors; Sons, Ben Woods of Lillian, Woodrow Woods and wife, Constance, of Wylie, Jerry Woods and wife, Cathy, of Sadler, Jim Woods and wife, Terri, of Millsap and Dan Woods and wife, Gail, of Granbury; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
