Dennis Lancaster

HURST -- Dennis D. Lancaster, 69, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 25, 2012. The family will receive friends 3-5pm Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Dennis, the son of Fred W. and Ophelia Bunting Lancaster, was born November 5, 1942 in Dallas. He was a member of the United Auto Workers. Following retirement from General Motors, he helped open the Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leroy Lancaster. Survivors: wife, Tena; son, Lincoln Lancaster and wife, Jill; daughter, Laine Lancaster; grandchildren, Cole, Spencer, Cade, Crey and Sullivan; nieces and nephews, Melisa and Brad Hartman, Hillary and Jay Decker, Megan and Brett Decker; sister-in-law, Martha Lancaster.
