Dennis Mumford

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Dennis Wayne Mumford, 75, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011. Dennis, the son of Thomas Wyatt and Eda Bilger Mumford, was born March 15, 1936, in Bedford. Following graduation from Carter Riverside High School, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He retired from Miller Brewing Company. Gardening, auto racing and bluegrass gospel music were his passions, as well as enjoying time with his grandchildren.  Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Betty Mumford; son, Monty Mumford and wife, Carol; daughters, Linda Mumford, Lisa Smith and husband, Sam; grandchildren, Dana Mumford, Erin Mumford, Kacie Vanover and husband, Travis, Austin Smith; and brother, Quincy Mumford.
