Diane Howell

MANSFIELD -- Diane Howell, 67, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at her residence.  Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessing Funeral Home. Burial: Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blessing Funeral Home.  Memorials: North Texas Humane Society, American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.  Diane was born in Mansfield on Oct. 27, 1939, the daughter of Oliver and Georgia Howell. She had owned and operated an insurance agency for 25 years before retiring. After retiring, she was employed by the Mansfield Police Department until her death.  Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Georgia Howell; brother, Charles Howell; and the love of her life, Robert McGuire.  Survivors: Sister, Barbara Jean Cole and husband, Sam, of Pantego; nieces, Phyllis Ware and husband, Curtis, of Arlington and Brandy Samuell and husband, Robert, of Tularosa, N.M.; her precious Sadie; numerous extended family members; and her Mansfield Police Department family.
