Donald Elkins

Pilot Point Donald Wayne Elkins, 70 of Pilot Point, died on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in Denton. He was born on March 14, 1938 in Lewisville to Ivan Raymond and Delma Corine (Graham) Elkins. He married Claudine Argo on March 4, 1961 in Denton, TX. He served in the U. S. Army and retired from Glidden Paint Company after 30+ years. He was the pastor at churches in West Texas and in Denton. He is survived by wife Claudine Elkins of Pilot Point, one son, Todd Elkins of Pilot Point, two daughters, Donna Reese of Garland and Tonya Brumley and husband John of Pilot Point. Hes also survived by five grandchildren, Brittney, Zachary, Amanda, Brandy and Mark, and two great-grandchildren, Ramon and Landyn, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one brother, J.C. Elkins, one sister, Margie Baggs, and son-in-law Mark Reese.
