Donald Moss,

Donald D. Moss, Sr., 69, went to be with the Lord peacefully at his home in Little Elm, TX on May 20, 2011. He was born on July 7, 1942 in Long Beach, CA to James W. and Patsy (Blair) Moss. He moved to Amarillo when he was three years old. He was raised in Amarillo and lived his early years there. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1960, he also graduated from West Texas State University and he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI in 2007 after 25 years. Don was an avid golfer and bridge player. He is survived by his wife, Judith Johnson; one son, Dwayne Moss, Jr.; one daughter, Elizabeth Moss Walker; one sister, Carolyn Moss Slagle; and one step-brother, Donnie McWhorter. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Alex Moss; one uncle, Jack D. Moss; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Don's memory to the American Diabetes or American Heart Association.
