Donna Doerr

GRANDVIEW -- Donna Marie Doerr joined her mother, Billie, and sister, Cindy, in eternal life Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield. She was born Feb. 16, 1945, to Marshall E. and Billie Jean Gorman. She married the love of her life, Charles "Yank" Doerr, on Sept. 16, 1961. Donna retired from Tarrant County in 2007. Her love of family, friends and passion for painting kept her life rich and full. She will be missed by all. The family would like to thank the special nurses, doctors and staff of Baylor All Saints Medical Center transplant and ICU units for their special care and support and ask all to give the gift of life through organ donation at www.donatelifetexas.org. Survivors: Her husband, Charles; children, Debbie Steelman and Richard Doerr; father, Marshall Gorman; sisters, Charlotte and Becky; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and an extended family she loved and cherished.
