Donnie Ray McCurry, 50, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Lucas Funeral Home - Keller. Interment: Bourland Cemetery, Keller. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at the funeral home. Donnie was born Jan. 29, 1963, in San Antonio. He loved the Dallas Cowboys team and all other sports. He loved family time, home-cooked meals and weightlifting. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Kyle McCurry; stepfather, Frank Glendale Jones; and grandparents, Kyle and Irene McCurry, James and Mildred McNabb, and Cecil and Vida Lancaster. Survivors: Daughter, Jamie Lynn McCurry and his grandchildren, Tiara Lolloff and Joseph Lolloff of Arlington, TX; Sharon Kay McCurry, mother, Texas; and Dana Dale Jones, birth mother, TX; siblings, Frankie McCurry of WY, Gale McCurry of GA, Susie Ellis and husband, Allen, of TN, Sandy Gaber of Texas and Michelle Curtis and husband, Eric, of TX; and many loving aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
