Doris Ann Rogers, 75 of Little Elm, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at her home. She was born on October 5, 1935 in Denton to Marvin and Dorothy (Trammell) White. She married Willie Ray Rogers on August 18, 1951 in Denton, he preceded her in death. She was instrumental in helping get the Lake Lewisville Toll Bridge built. She was voted Little Elm Citizen of the Year in 1999. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was Baptist. She is survived by three sons, Allen Rogers of Gainesville, Billy Rogers of Little Elm and Brad Rogers of Colleyville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Bobbie Erwin of Whitesboro. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Ronald Rogers, two brothers, Douglas White and Wayne White, and one sister, Sue Gass.
