Dorothy M. Anders

FORT WORTH -- Dorothy M. Anders passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Dorothy was born Nov. 7, 1922, in Fort Worth. She married Levoyce Anders on Sept. 25, 1943. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 21, 1986; her daughter, Jan Godfrey, on Oct. 23, 2003; and her sisters, Billy Burger, Wanda Robins and Isma Puckett. Survivors: Dorothy is survived by her sons, Gary Anders and wife, Kathy, and Mike Anders and wife, Kim; sister, Ethyl Puckett; grandchildren, Pam Anders, Richard Anders, Alissa Massey, Clayton Anders, Ben Godfrey, Marty Godfrey and Justin Godfrey; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
