Dorothy Freer

EULESS -- Dorothy Yvonne Freer, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Memorial service: Noon Monday at Lucas Funeral Home. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Dorothy was born Oct. 31, 1934, in Fort Worth to Louis and Ora Booth. She was the fifth of seven children. She married Robert G. Freer on July 14, 1950. Dorothy worked at Montgomery Ward in the catalog order section and at Williamson-Dickie as a garment inspector until the birth of their first daughter. She was a loving mother and homemaker thereafter. She enjoyed gardening and garden club activities and played bridge with a number of groups. She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Trent; her mother and father; two brothers; and three sisters. Survivors: Her husband of 61 years; her daughter, Lea Anne and her husband, Edward Ribinskas; grandsons, Andrew and Ryan Ribinskas; granddaughter, Katherine and her husband, David Ellis; sister, Bertha and her husband, Jack Rimerez, of McNeill, Miss.; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
