Dorothy Overfield      KELLER -- Dorothy "Dottie" Overfield, a Keller resident and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend, was set free to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2009.        Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, 137 East Hill, Keller. After the service, her earthly body will be laid to rest in Bourland Cemetery, 901 Bourland Road, Keller.        Memorials: Those wishing to honor her memory may make a contribution to the Aplastic Anemia and MDS Foundation.        With the love, support and prayers of many friends and family, Dottie fought a brave battle and miraculously survived aplastic anemia. Her final battle was unrelated to this disease. Her family is eternally grateful for those prayers and the medical professionals at NIH, and Baylor Hospital in Grapevine, as well as the ongoing encouragement of Pastor Steve Hill from Heartland World Ministries Church.        Survivors: Her devoted husband, Bert; their children, Terri Dittmer of Denver, Colo., Rod Overfield of Keller and Nancy Overfield-Delmar of Keller; and nine grandchildren.
