Douglas Michael Lilly, 58 of Mobile, AL formerly of Pilot Point passed away on December 3, 2008. He was born on January 19, 1950 in Columbus, OH to Samuel and Evelyn (Browning) Lilly. He was a lifetime member of the AQHA and a pioneer of the AQHA Pleasure Horse. He was also a member of the NSBA, NRHA, and APHA. He had a passion for horses, driving and his grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and pool player. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Scott Schroeder of Dallas, GA, two grandchildren, Cheani and Skylar Schroeder of Dallas, GA, one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and husband Ray Boley of Brighton, MI, two nieces, one great-niece, one great-nephew and one great-great-nephew. Honorary pallbearers will be Clark Bradley, Charlie Cole, Troy Compton, Joe Edge, Rick Gervasio, Benny Guitron, Clint Haverty, Casey Ginton, Tommy Manion, Tom McCutcheon, Tim McQuay, Dave Page, Mark Sheridan, and Barry Wyatt.
