Edgar Johnson

MANSFIELD - Edgar Alan Johnson, a semi-retired Certified Public Accountant, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009. He was born in DeLeon on March 30, 1933, the son of Paul Barnett Johnson and Irma Dell Duke Johnson. During his life he had a varied career path from his U. S. Navy service to engineering work at Texas Instruments, later becoming a CPA. He was involved in numerous professional activities. He loved to scuba dive, play black jack and travel on cruises. Survivors include his Wife, Tommie Zell Johnson of Mansfield; children, Deborah Lynn Cunion and husband Jeffrey of Fort Worth and Ginger L. Brown and husband Michael G. of Friendswood; grandchildren, Laura Blythe Cunion, Cameron Paul Cunion, Derrick Alan Brown and wife Emily, Craig Michael Brown and wife Laura, Paula Jo Brown; great grandchildren, Christian Alan Brown, Elysia Magdalene Brown, Ernest Michael Brown, McKenzie Grace Brown; God children Katey Zell and Kelcy Ann Steffen; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Thomas Oszczakiewicz, Michael Brown, Jeffrey Cunion, Derrick Brown, Craig Brown, and Cameron Cunion.
