FORT WORTH -- Edith Elizabeth Winther Coppedge McCaulley Grace, 94, died peacefully Monday morning, April 27, 2009, at her residence. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Leonard Memorial Chapel at First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, 800 W. Fifth St. The Rev. Dr. Lamar Smith will officiate. Interment: Following committal prayers, Edith will be laid to rest next to her husband, Louis, in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: She will lie in state noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Drawing Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. Memorials: Consideration of contributions to First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth or a charity of choice, in her memory, is suggested. Edith was born in Pearsall on Feb. 24, 1915, the daughter of Ernst Clemons and Edith Alma Foster Winther. Prior to her marriage to Louis Coppedge, she acted as a nurse.
