BEDFORD -- Husband, father, attorney, boss, friend and "larger than life Texas Uncle", Ed Anderson passed away on Christmas Day after a prolonged struggle with his medical ailments. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, January 5 at St. Philip Presbyterian Church in Hurst, Texas. Edmund practiced law for 43 years, first in Fort Worth, then Dallas. For the last 40 years his office was in the mid-cities area. Ed was a member of St. Phillip Presbyterian Church where he was a deacon and a member of the choir. His favorite things to do were practicing law, learning, collecting, traveling and playing games and visiting with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gail Anderson, and their two children, Julie and Niels Anderson. His extended family includes brother-in-law, John Dietz, nephew and wife, Neil and Carla Dietz, brother- in-law, Dick McDaniel, niece and husband, Tricia and Matt Bosco, nephews Doug and Scott McDaniel and cousins Jean Behse and Dale Behse.
