Edward Leo Brach

HURST -- Edward Leo Brach, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial, 9 a.m. Thursday, St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are requested to S.P.C.A. of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, Texas 75212. Edward, the son of Leo and Clara Glazer Brach, was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Bell Helicopter as a structural engineer. Survivors: His loving wife, Berneta; sons, Kenneth, Mike and Edward; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald; sister, Joan Dirmyer.
