BEDFORD -- Edward William Farrell, beloved husband of Jean for 58 years, died peacefully at his home Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 3731 Harwood Road, Bedford. Interment: Following committal prayers Edward will be laid to rest in the veterans' section of Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Wake: The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, with prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at Lucas Hurst Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road. Edward William Farrell was born Oct. 10, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y. Edward was a veteran of World War II. He retired from American Airlines after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlotte Colyer and Marjorie Moraghan. Survivors: His loving wife, Jean Farrell; loving daughters, Elizabeth Kennedy and her husband, Raymond, and Maura Slaughter and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Kelly, Raymond, Caitlin, Mark, Shannon and Michael; and sister, Elizabeth Passman and her husband, Frank.
