Edward Kundrat

FORT WORTH -- Edward Kundrat, 81, formerly of Highland, Ind., passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at home in Fort Worth. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller. Interment: 1:30 p.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Ed's memory to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association. A U.S. Navy veteran, Ed served during World War II on the USS Hornet. He retired from Inland Steel after 39 years of service. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Survivors: His loving wife of 59 years, Shirley de St. Jean Kundrat; children, Linn and Ron Jencopale, Karen and Greg Russell, Cheryl Hudson and Ed Jr. and Chi Kundrat; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
