Edward Lewis

Edward F. Lewis, faithful husband, father and servant went to meet his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Sunday, May 8, 2011. Funeral service is Monday, May 9, 2011, at Cana Baptist Church, Burleson, with burial in Dallas, Texas.  Edward was born in Dallas, Texas, May 26, 1920, to John Calvin Lewis and Norma Lee McCord. He was a veteran of World War II.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Hays Lewis; children Nita Wallace and husband, Tom Wallace of Burleson and Betsy Sliger and husband, Bill Sliger of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren Michael Wallace and Gina Turner and husband, Shawn Turner; and great grandchilden Annelise Turner, Tyler Turner and Ashlynne Turner, all of Burleson and brother, Jack Lewis of Dallas, Texas.
