Edward Nelson

EMORY -- Edward Nelson passed away May 17, 2010. Memorial: 10 a.m., Saturday, May 29 at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Ed was born July 31, 1948 in Richlands, Virginia, the son of L.D. and Betty Mae Isom Crawford. He was a truck driver for over 28 years, an avid outdoorsman, loving husband, father and papa. He was preceded in death by his father, L.D. Crawford, mother, Betty Mae Crawford, and sister, Wanda Rasper. Survivors: Wife of 30 years, Marie Nelson; children, Heather Green, and husband, Russell, Bryan Nelson, and wife, Alyssa, Mandy Nelson; and a son-in-law, Joey; grandsons, Wesley, Isaiah, Noah, Taylor, Tre, Hunter; sister, Dinah; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
