Edward Walsh

Hurst -- Edward Allen Walsh, Sr. passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Wednesday St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller, TX. 76248. Father Dennis Smith will be celebrant. Interment will follow at 1pm Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 To 8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army or USO will be greatly appreciated. Edward was born in Queens, New York on September 17, 1931. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1949 to 1952. At that time, he became employed by American Airlines where he worked for the next 40 years in various capacities. He was an avid boater and a life time member of The Captree Power Squadron as well as the VFW Post 516. Survivors: Wife of 54 years, Beverly; Sons, Edward, Jr. and Kevin, Sr. Grandchildren, Kathryn and Kelly Walsh, Kevin Walsh, Jr. and Candice and husband, Michael Parks.
