Elizabeth Jane Russell Clark, beloved wife, mother and Mimi, died peacefully Saturday, January 10, 2009. She was born April 14, 1921, to Isaac James Lafayette Russell and Gertrude Elizabeth Zivney Russell. She married Norman William Clark in Rockwall , Texas on April 15, 1939. She attended Dallas Public Schools and graduated from Forest High School in 1938. She lived in Irving until 1969 when she and Norman moved to the Aubrey area and made many dear friends through their church at New Hope Baptist in Aubrey. Jane and Norman enjoyed many years of traveling the United States in their travel trailer. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting minerals and rocks, sewing and numerous crafts. While her health was good, she was active in New Hope Baptist Church and provided food and visited the sick. Jane was proceeded in death by her son, Michael David Clark. She is survived by and will be missed by her husband of 69 years, Norman ; three daughters, Jeannine Jordan and her husband Chet, Sue Wooldridge and her husband Ronnie, and Cathey Brownlow; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her family is grateful for the tender loving care she received during her final days from the staff at The Vintage in Denton . In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to World Vision, the American Heart Association, Habitat For Humanity or Heifer International.
