NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Elizabeth J. Tubb passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Smithfield United Methodist Church, Smithfield and Chapman roads in North Richland Hills, the Rev. Dwaine Greene officiating. Interment: Following the service, Elizabeth will be laid to rest next to her husband, L.C. Tubb Sr., in Moore Memorial Gardens. Memorials: You may remember her with a memorial to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of her great-granddaughter, Jordan Flint. Elizabeth was a member of the Bost family, a pioneering family in the northeast Tarrant County area. She graduated from Amon Carter-Riverside High School in 1938 and was a founding member of Mica Corp. Survivors: Son, L.C. Tubb Jr. and his wife, Cynthia; grandchildren, Kevin Tubb and his wife, Wendy, and Jodie Flint and her husband, Joel; great-grandchildren, Braden and Bryn Tubb and Jordan and Jadya Flint; sister, Aline Shivers; and a huge family of employees at Mica Corp.
