Ella Walker

Ella Marie Dollar Walker, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at the age of 86. Ella raised her children with her husband, William K. Walker, in Mansfield. She taught her children and grandchildren how to laugh and love life. She married her high school sweetheart, Billy, on Sept. 5, 1942. They were best friends for the next 69 years. Ella was a talented singer and it was often said that heaven would stop and listen whenever she sang "How Great Thou Art." Ella is survived by her husband, William K. Walker; her bother-in-law, Ralph Walker; her son, Scott Walker and his wife Debby; her daughter, Debby Kratky and her husband, Charley; grandchildren, Michelle Walker, David Walker, Rafe Walker, Gabe Walker, Wade Burk, Josh Burk and Aaron Burk; and great-grandchildren, Layla and Reina Walker, and Eliot Burk, Bishop Burk, Adam Burk and Mayleen Burk.
