Elsie Provins

Elsie Lou Provins, 93, of Weatherford, Texas and longtime resident of Mansfield, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home at 10:15 P.M. on Thursday, June 30, 2011. Elsie was born in Clarksville, Texas on June 16, 1918, the daughter of Robert Everett Wilson and Lillian Ruth Burgess Wilson. She married James Sanford Provins in New Boston, Texas on February 3, 1939. Elsie was a homemaker and longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Mansfield as well as Harmony Baptist Church in Weatherford. Survivors include her Sons, James William Lee Provins and Kenneth Wayne Provins; eight grandchildren, , Genelle Moblin, Aaron, David, Dusty, Jim, Jason, John and Jarrod Provins; 12 great-grandchildren, J.B. "Trey" III, Wendel'Lyn and Ja'den Blake Moblin, Tyler, Krys, Kathlyn, Ashley, Carista, James Benjamin, Audrey, Samantha and Isabelle Provins. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, James, on March 27, 1985 and son, Wendell Dale Provins on May 24, 2006.
