BEDFORD -- Emily A. Leath passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012. Service: Family and friends will gather 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Emily's home in Bedford. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Cook Children's Medical Center of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John A. "Pete" Leath. Survivors: Sisters, Etta Babovek of Kaufman, Aline Duke of North Richland Hills and Alice Smith of Arlington; brother, Ed Vacula of Denton; son, John Leath Jr. and wife, Ruby; daughter, Laura Ball; grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Adam, and Erin; two great-grandchildren; and many, many close friends.
