Emma Lee Hewitt

Emma Lee Hewitt, 78, passed away May 15, 2014 at her home. Funeral Service: 10am Friday, May 23 at Hallmark Baptist Church, 4201 W Risinger Rd, Fort Worth. Visitation: 5-7pm Thursday evening at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home, Burleson. Emma was born June 10,1935 to Huey and Bertha Garrison in Edwards, Missouri. She married Warren (Willie) Hewitt on Aug. 6,1954. She was preceded in death by both parents as well as her sister, Betty Owens, her brother Huey Garrison and her grandson, Philip Ashley. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Willie; as well her children, Brenda Mathews (Mike), Linda Ashley (Dan), Cheryl Payne (Brian), five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, four sisters, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
