Eula Newman

Eula was born Aug. 15, 1913, in Turkey, Texas, to I.G. and Laura Coker Fillingim. Eula was one of 10 children. She and her family moved to Wheeler County in 1926. Eula married Dec. 29, 1937, to Robert Lee Newman, who preceded Eula in death. They were married 43 years. Robert and Eula had six children. Eula and Robert moved to Fort Worth in 1948. Eula had two years of college before marrying Robert. She was a homemaker who loved to cook. She never met a stranger, enjoyed telling stories and had a good sense of humor. She enjoyed her family and friends. She looked forward to seeing every new grandchild that was born. Eula was a faithful and cherished friend. Her family and friends meant the world to her. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She will live forever in everyone's heart.
