FORT WORTH -- Evelyn Joy Eggenberger, a homemaker, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, at a local care facility. Burial: Evelyn will be inurned at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania. Memorials: The family respectfully invites friends who so desire to honor her memory with memorial contribution to a favorite charity. Evelyn Joy was born July 12, 1922, in Arkansaw, Wis., to Joseph and Ida LeTeau King. She was a longtime member of St. George Catholic Church, where she was an active member of the Altar Society. She was member of Riverside Lady Lions and a member of the Haltom City Post of the VFW. Survivors: Her husband, Robert Eggenberger; sons, Larry Eggenberger and his wife, Sue, of Burleson and Donald Eggenberger and his wife Julie of Azle; sister, Bernice Knudson of Eau Claire, Wis.; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
