Florence Gurley

Florence was born March 2, 1912, in Paducah, Ky. She lived in Oklahoma before moving to Fort Worth in the early 1940s. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Fort Worth.        She worked for Montgomery Ward's and the telephone company. She was past president of the Oakhurst PTA. Florence loved the Cowboys. She was a devoted grandmother.        She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard K. Gurley, in 1991; daughter, Katherine "Kaye" McDonald in 1978; and sister, Lucille Hostetter of Tulsa.        Survivors: Grandsons, Robert McDonald Jr. and wife, Shari, of Durango, Colo., and Andrew McDonald and wife, Jill, of Frisco; "Sunshine" granddaughter, Amanda McDonald of Trophy Club; great-granddaughters, Paige of Durango and Berkley of Frisco; son-in-law, Robert McDonald Sr. of Trophy Club; and three nieces.
