Frances Bain HALTOM CITY -- Frances Alice Bain, 97, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017. FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Saturday at Birdville Baptist Church in Haltom City. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home in Fort Worth. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Birdville Baptist Church, Ruth Class; or the American Cancer Society. Frances was born March 16, 1920, in Pontiac, Ill. to the late Lettie and Arthur Ruff. She moved to Texas with her husband Frank in 1950 and moved to Haltom City in 1953. Frances was a member of Birdville Baptist Church for over 64 years, worked at Bill Carter State Farm for 25 years, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 20 years with her lifelong friend, Wilda Stephens. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Bain; brother, Everett; and grandson, Brandon Bain; and life-long friend, Jo Johnston. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Cindy Butler (Dale) of Rogers; son, William R. Bain of Haltom City; grandchildren, Ricky Criswell (Shannon) of Arlington, Kelly Criswell (Tasha) of College Stateion, Zachary (Shai) Butler of Spokane, Wash., Allan Bain of Haltom City, and Frank Bain (April) of North Richland Hills; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
